Solucious, part of the Colruyt Group, is a successful food service wholesaler with a robust digital ordering platform for customers. Solucious is also a valuable channel for suppliers—whom Solucious refers to as business partners—who wish to increase the visibility of their products.
The challenge
Solucious’ media services were already powerful in design, but the structure and communication could be improved. A number of suppliers were not yet familiar with all the possibilities for advertising via Solucious media. A more efficient working method between marketing and purchasing was also needed.
Our approach
Together with Solucious, GROUP7 developed a new media plan: clear, structured and focused on collaboration.
- We put together clear advertising packages tailored to different supplier objectives, such as product launches, trial generation or improved visibility.
- We improved the pricing approach and made the catalogue clearer and more user-friendly.
- Webinars were held in which Solucious marketers presented Solucious’ new media catalogue to their colleagues at suppliers.
The result
Solucious now has a professional and transparent media platform. Suppliers have a clear overview of all possibilities and find the collaboration easier and more valuable. Internally, the collaboration between marketing and purchasing has been strengthened. The result: greater supplier participation, higher returns from collaboration and a greater focus on Solucious’ strategic goals.
